I’m using Dreamweaver (and also have tried BlueGriffon) but neither allow ME to make easy layout changes. Question #65: Is there a recommended EASY to use WYSIWYG editor? One so easy even I might be able to figure it out? I’m sure I messed something up because the template’s pre-coded images look fine, but further down the ones I added don’t. Question #64: With your help I fixed the image spacing on the portfolio page, however when I shrink my browser width so that everything is in just one column, then some images are touching others. Is there a way to change the color of the highlight for just that one page? The very dark color doesn’t show well on the background photo and I’d love for it to be the light blue color instead if that’s possible? That dark color works well on the other pages, just not on the index.html page. Question #63: On my main page my company name is highlighted by an animation I’ll maybe do some more searching of the FAQ/Forum because I made very little changes to that page so I don’t think I messed it up as bad as I did the other pages. So I get them if I send them from my pc, but not when it’s sent from any other pc/device. I’ll try to not do that again.Īs for the Contact form, I never got the one you sent. I never meant to change any core files, but I have no clue what I’m doing and so I somehow messed them up accidentally. I’m sure this is an easy thing but Dreamweaver is so new to me and I can’t figure it out. Also, when I added 2 more images below the original 4 images, I can’t seem to get the space between the images like there is between the top 4. On the “Portfolio > New Homes” page, the colors are also wrong (probably same issue as the Services page issue). On the “Services” page the colors are all different (should be blues not black) and the icons are missing. On the “About” page the alternative text is showing up as the wrong font (the “1998” “your” and “Let our team become part of your team!” text is showing as comic sans font on other computers). Instead, they’re clumped on top of each other on the left. On the main page towards the bottom the 4 animated icons/texts are not spread out across the page like they’re supposed to be. however they don’t from the server/online = I must have done something(s) wrong!) You can get this software to run by right clicking on it (or Control-clicking on it), and choosing "Open", you will get the same message again, but this time you will have the option of going ahead and opening the program.I’ve never coded before, so the problem is with something I did, but what? I’m using Dreamweaver to edit, and I almost certainly have messed up the file structure on the server (most everything works OK locally, colors, fonts, etc. When you encounter this you simply have to decide if you are getting your software from a known developer who has existed for a time and who has a decent reputation. Lots of small developers haven't registered with Apple, as they are on a tight budget and don't want to pay to be registered developers of Apple's. It means that the developer hasn't registered with Apple. When the Mac reports that the "developer can't be verified" it doesn't mean that the program won't run, or even that the program in question is dangerous. Your computer won't explode if you try to run software that is too old to function. You have nothing to lose by downloading it and trying it. It will either install and run, or it won't. No software for the Mac is "too risky to install" just because it hasn't been in development for a few years. I'm guessing that you are new to the Macintosh?
